Volunteers

 From the compost came a volunteer, bright and shining
 grand in size, gracefully weaving among the ivy
with the loveliest gift for fall.

    Oh we had a butternut squash, some tomatoes, and potato volunteers this year! I thought Mark made up the name "volunteer". I thought he was so clever. He said "sorry I can't take credit for that one!" hahaha

      Well, I believe Mark is still clever...but I think "Volunteer" is a standard term. haha.
