The Gray Winter

Everything has been muddy and gray.  Spring will seem like an extra special treat after such a bitter cold winter.  I love how each season brings it's joys and beauty and then gracefully bows out for the entry of another.

Gym Class: Snowboarding

One of the advantages of home schooling is that my husband can take our son snowboarding during a weekday, when the slopes aren't as crowded.  My son has been snowboarding for about 4 years now and he really enjoys it. I'm glad we finally got some real snow this year!

Spring Interrupted

Spring fever is on hold around here.  The crocus and snow drops are covered in, well...snow!

I guess Old Man Winter had to have a final say.  I don't blame him.  After a pitiful attempt at giving us winter, he finally decided to put up a fight.  I am quite thankful for his finale.

Everything has turned to fairy land. It's magical and beautiful!

The temperatures are supposed to be back in the 40-50 degrees so all this beauty will be turning to a muddy mess.  I guess I won't bother scrubbing the floors.  I think I will just sit back and enjoy the view.
