Fall Harvest

A small harvest, but pretty!  I'm really hoping to expand our knowledge and space for gardening in 2014.

I've planted garlic for the first time, which should winter over and be ready, late spring.

"Earth's crammed with heaven and ever common bush afire with God; but only he who sees takes off his shoes..." - Elizabeth Barrett Browning.

  4. Thanks. Everything was dwarfed by the shade and grew very, very slowly.

  5. I think that looks like a great harvest! I hope to add to my garden next year as well. I am sticking with my hearts desire though - berries, green beans and english peas too. Everything else I can get at the farmers' market.

  6. Ooh very nice. I keep hoping for a little space to grow some vegetables and herbs. I might have to join with a community plot since I'm a city mouse at heart.
