Mid October was a treat. Heidi hosted her almost monthly crafternoon. She is the best hostess, thinks of all the details, and makes sure that life as an adult is just as exciting as being a kid...maybe even better!
We had themed food, like these witchy fingers as well as plenty of other yummy treats.
We all came in costume. You can visit her blog to see some of the other great costumes. I was going for a Megan Draper look. She printed out these cute ballots to cast of votes for our favorite costumes. We made Halloween jewelry and laughed about all sorts of inappropriate things.
Sometimes you have to take a step away from the normal day to day and celebrate being goofy and fun. That's what holidays like this are all about. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Sounds like a grrrrreat time!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy All Hallows' Eve!

And to you, I hope it was spooktacular!
DeleteBrilliant! I LOVE your costume (and who wouldn't want to be Don Draper's wife?) and the party fare is fab! Happy Halloween! Chrissie x
ReplyDeleteI found the dress at a goodwill about 15 years ago. It is authentic.
DeleteOh a very Happy Halloween to you as well! Your costume is perfect! And those witch fingers...they are insanely real looking!!! Glad you had fun like a kid!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks. The witches fingers were actually quite tasty! They were shortbread.
