The bounty of summer is coming to and end.  Our CSA box isn't going to be quite as full of so many different kinds of fruits and veggies.  I like the transition of the seasons though.  Spring brings us boxes of spring onions, lettuces, beets, and broccoli.  Summer boxes are full of every color a garden can hold.  Our Autumn box is heavy and dense with squash, pumpkins, and potatoes.

We still have a few weeks left of our CSA.  Thankfully we put a few things away in the freezer to enjoy during the winter months.

    1. Thank you! I wish I could grow all these. Maybe next year with a bit more practice and hard work.

  2. everything looks so delicious! i only recently learned what a CSA is and I really want to sign up for my first one— fresh *in season* fruits and veggies?! yes please!

also love that you are squirreling some away for the winter— so brilliant! i always forget that freezing things is an option (kind of bad at food planning over here!)

    1. If I could grow my own, I would but we just have too much shade! I love our CSA. This is our 3rd year participating and I cannot imagine life without it. You should give it a go, and if it seems too pricey - split a subscription with a friend.
