Summer Blooms in the Yard

We planted a wildflower mix by the bee hives and they are starting to bloom. They get dappled sunlight and seem to be doing well.

I love these fuchsia blooms, they are so feathery.
Day lilies grow wild all around here. Our neighborhood is full of their orange and yellow blooms.

  1. Lovely shots of your garden! It is so cool that the day lilies have sowed themselves all over the place.

    1. It is...however the deer in the neighborhood seem to think the ones that are cultivated taste better. They ate every bloom off my daylilies and hostas this weekend! Ah well. Nature!

  3. I have those yellow flowers in the front of my new house. I never knew what they were. Are they day lilies? They are very sturdy flowers when touching them. The variety of flowers looks nice in your yard, and I love that sweet lady bug. Thank you for visiting us today. We would love it if you would follow us, and I would certainly come back and follow you as well. You have such a lovely blog. It's nice to meet new friends.
