  1. Thxs for stopping by Kate. Nice to measure the passage of the seasons by what nature provides. The old fashioned way, so much more in tune with our real needs.

  2. Thank you for visiting my blog. And especially for leaving a comment. Thus I could come over, and visit in yours. :-)

I do hope you find the "Brambly Hedge" books, because I'm sure you will be enchanted by them. People who have "Cottage" in their blog names, simply *have* to be enchanted with "Brambly Hedge." :-)

Until next time... Oh and I love the name of your blog... "The Mossy Cottage." What a delightful word picture, that conjures up.

    1. Thanks Tessa. Have you read Tasha Tudor books? They are filled with enchanting woodland creatures. I think you'd love her.

    1. I stick to the standard apple pie. I love fresh apple sauce but last year I canned a bunch and they didn't seal properly which left me a bit hostile towards it. I also love caramel apples!

  4. Yes, the transition has begun. The nights are cooler, a couple of times I've needed a sweater. A few leaves have started to change ...soon we will be basking in all that rich autumn color.

    1. I just love fall, the first logs lit in the fireplace, raking and pumpkin pie. I love it all!
