Yard Maintenance

Summer yard work is pretty laid back around here.  Since grass really only grows on one side of our house, the front "yard" is pretty easy to maintain.

I have to trim back the ivy about once a month or so to keep it from over taking the walkway and driveway.

A little weeding and its done.  Now, Autumn is a whole other story, but we won't talk about that right now.

  1. I can't even imagine what your yard work is like in the fall! You will have to do a post on that!!! That is the beauty of shade! Your rocks coupled with the greens are just so beautiful!!!

    1. There is no shortage of leaf piles - but it makes for fun jumping! We use a leaf blower to make piles, then rake that onto tarps and haul into the woods. When my son was younger he would ride the tarps on top the leaf pile. He is getting to big for that sadly!
