Bretton Woods, NH - Mount Washington Resort (2)

This hotel is grand.


and breathtaking

I'm not one for golf, but the scenery was spectacular.

the drive to the resort is also beautiful
I have to say that the New England states are exquisite.

      The history of this place is amazing. The owner's goal was to create the grandest hotel of it's time. I think he succeeded.

    wowie! I will have to put this on my bucket list for sure! I have never heard of it. I'm surprised it hasn't been on TV (well it might have been but I missed it) the waterfalls are gorgeous too! I'm a sucker for waterfalls anytime, anywhere :)

      I think it may have been featured on one of the Haunted Hotels of America episodes.
