Making my bed

The first garden bed has been planted with broccoli, onions, lettuce, spinach, peas, basil, and thyme.  We shall see how everything goes.  I have three more garden beds to plant.  I hope something grows this year.  Some things are hit or miss with our limited amount of sunshine.  We did do some clearing in the fall, so that should help maximize the light.

    1. Things are growing which is really exciting. Lettuce, peas, and potatoes seem to be the happiest. (and thank you!)

  2. What a sweet little garden, with the stones all around it! good luck....I battled a lack of sun for years at our old house, so I know how challenging it is!

    1. Shade is nice, but not when trying to grow edibles! The herbs thrive though, so that is a plus.
